The Village West is shedding its construction gear at the corner of Sixth Avenue and West 14th Street, with work now in the home stretch at the new condominium tower. With most of the scaffolding gone and the sidewalk shed removed, crews are turning their attention to finishing interior fit-outs and restoring the sidewalks for full pedestrian use.

Facade and finish work revealed

The recent dismantling of the scaffolding has fully exposed the building’s red-brick facade, which is accented with glazed green brick, rounded corner windows and multiple setbacks that will hold landscaped terraces, according to New York YIMBY. The 13-story, 145-foot-tall property spans about 123,000 square feet and is set to contain 68 condominium units along with two ground-floor retail spaces. Plastic sidewalk barriers and temporary fencing are still in place while interior work and final streetscape details are completed.

Design team and construction credits

The Village West was designed by BKSK Architects for developer Izaki Group Investments, with Hunter Roberts listed as the construction manager, according to BKSK Architects. BKSK describes the project as a “dialogue between past and present,” combining detailed masonry, curved bay windows and a double-height lobby to echo the surrounding historic streetscape. The firm’s project page cites a 2026 completion date.

Sales, pricing and market status

CORE Group is handling sales and marketing, which kicked off in late 2025 and, according to the building’s own materials, has already moved a significant share of its inventory, as outlined on The Village West. The sales site also cites the sponsor’s offering plan (file no. CD24-0183) and provides current availability along with contact details for showings. Brokerage listings are starting to surface as the building gets ready for occupancy.

Amenities, unit mix and prices

When sales launched, pricing started at around $1.4 million for one-bedroom homes and reached into the mid $6 million range for larger units, according to 6sqft. The amenity package stretches across multiple floors and includes a fitness club, yoga and recovery studios with hydrotherapy and cryo, an infrared sauna and steam rooms, a bar and billiards room, a golf simulator, coworking spaces, private courtyards and a rooftop dining area with an outdoor kitchen. Residents will also have access to a children’s playroom, pet-wash station, bicycle parking, storage and on-site laundry.

New York YIMBY reports that the project is expected to fully wrap later this spring, with final interior work and retail build-outs likely finishing before residents start to move in. Sitting at the foot of the 14th Street subway station, the building will offer quick access to the F, M and L trains and add two new storefronts to an already busy stretch of Sixth Avenue.
