Tweedy's Burgers quietly flipped its last patty at The Gatherall in Norwood on Tuesday, shutting down its stall as the homegrown brand eyes a bigger footprint across Greater Cincinnati.
According to FOX19, the restaurant, a spin-off of the former Tweedy’s Deli & Grill, posted a public thank you to customers, saying, “This spot helped us grow, meet thousands of amazing customers, and build the Tweedy’s community.” The station reports that Tweedy’s is planning new locations in Deer Park and Clifton, along with a separate Tweedy’s Hot Chicken concept in Madisonville, although no opening dates have been announced.
Background
As detailed by PLK Communities, Tweedy’s signed on in May 2023 as one of the original vendors at The Gatherall. The concept was described as a reincarnation of a former Deer Park deli and grill and joined a lineup that included spots like Melt Revival and Shango’s Urban Taqueria.
Gatherall turnover
The closure marks the third restaurant departure from The Gatherall since the food hall opened, following exits by Fulton Yards and Nice Nice Noodles & Rice, according to FOX19. The venue told the station it “looks forward to continuing to serve the community in new ways very soon” and thanked Tweedy’s “for being part of The Gatherall,” but it has not yet named a replacement for the now-empty stall.
What’s next
With no launch dates set for the planned Deer Park, Clifton, or Madisonville spots, Tweedy’s next moves are still under wraps. Fans looking to keep tabs on the burger joint can check The Gatherall or Tweedy’s social media channels for updates, and the food hall’s directory is expected to reflect any future tenant changes.
