A Cincinnati woman who was critically injured in an October hit-and-run on Westwood Northern Boulevard has died months after the crash, according to local police. She was struck on Oct. 15, 2025, and later succumbed to the injuries she suffered that night.
Local reporting identified the victim as 42-year-old Amanda Lorman, who was hit shortly before 8 p.m. on Oct. 15. As reported by WKRC, police say they still do not have a description of the vehicle involved and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
Initial coverage from Oct. 16 described officers responding to the 1900 block of Westwood Northern Boulevard at about 7:50 p.m. The vehicle fled the scene after striking the pedestrian, who was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, according to FOX19.
Police seek witnesses
The Cincinnati Police Department's Traffic Unit is urging anyone with information about the Oct. 15 crash to call 513-352-2514, according to a department release. Investigators say tips could help them identify the driver or vehicle that left the scene and support their ongoing review of available evidence.
Safety concerns along the corridor
Westwood Northern Boulevard has seen multiple serious collisions in recent months, including a fatal crash that shut the road in September, a trend local reporters and residents have been flagging for months. That stretch is also listed in the City of Cincinnati's Transportation Safety Action Plan as a corridor under consideration for safety improvements, highlighting officials' recognition of ongoing risks to people walking and driving there, as noted in the city's DOTE plan.
Investigators have not released a suspect or vehicle description, and no arrests or charges have been announced, according to reporting by FOX19. Authorities say any witness video or tips could be crucial to finding the driver who took off after the crash.
