City crews deployed aerial streams and multiple engines to attack what officials called a large structure fire, while neighbors reported ash and sparks drifting across the complex. According to FOX 5 Atlanta, the Roswell Fire Department said crews responded to the blaze at the Enclave Apartments and confirmed that no one was hurt. A resident identified as Adnan told FOX 5 Atlanta he heard a sudden "bang noise" around 6:45 p.m., then looked up to see a "huge, huge fire on the roof" racing from the back of the building. He credited firefighters with moving quickly to contain the flames and check neighboring units for damage.

Officials have not yet determined what sparked the fire or released a detailed count of damaged apartments, the Roswell Fire Department said.
