Before much of Dallas was awake yesterday, a woman was found shot in the street in South Dallas, and she later died at a hospital, police said.
Officers were called to the 1800 block of Park Row Avenue yesterday, where they discovered the woman lying in the roadway with a gunshot wound. Paramedics took her to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Authorities said the investigation is ongoing and a suspect remains at large.
According to The Dallas Morning News, police responded at 2:19 a.m. and found the victim in the street with a gunshot wound. The paper reported that no arrests had been made and that detectives were working the scene.
