A Philadelphia man is sitting in a Bucks County jail without bail after prosecutors say he repeatedly sexually assaulted a girl starting when she was just 11 years old, and that the victim later handed over evidence that backs up her account. Authorities say 31-year-old Bryan Christopher Williams was arrested in Philadelphia after a Bucks County investigation into allegations that he assaulted the girl over several years. Prosecutors allege the attacks began when she was 11 and continued repeatedly, and say the victim eventually provided evidence that they contend confirms the abuse.
The case opened after a report was made to Falls Township Police in late March, according to The Philadelphia Inquirer. The outlet reports that the alleged assaults took place between 2021 and 2025 on county-owned property and at other locations, including the Mill Creek Village Apartments in Penndel and the Neshaminy Shore Picnic Park in Hulmeville.
Williams was taken into custody early Tuesday at a Philadelphia residence by the U.S. Marshals Service’s Eastern Pennsylvania Violent Crimes Fugitive Task Force. Prosecutors have charged him with multiple counts, including rape of a child, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and corruption of minors. District Attorney Joe Khan said the safety of children is a top priority for his office, as reported by FOX29.
An affidavit of probable cause says the victim supplied an 11-minute secretly recorded cellphone conversation from September 2025 in which Williams allegedly acknowledged sexual encounters with her. The affidavit also alleges that Williams told the girl no one would believe her if she spoke up and that she would be sent away if she reported the abuse, according to Bucks County Courier Times.
Arraignment and bail
Williams was arraigned on April 21 before Magisterial District Judge Daniel Baranowski, who denied bail and ordered him held at the Bucks County Correctional Facility, according to The Philadelphia Inquirer. Court records and local reporting indicate that prosecutors are pressing forward with a slate of felony charges as the case heads into preliminary hearings.
Investigators urge tips
The investigation is being led by Bucks County detectives and the Bucks County Park Police, with assistance from the U.S. Marshals Service. Authorities say they suspect there may be additional victims and are urging anyone with information to contact Bucks County Detectives at 215-348-6354, FOX29 reports.
Legal implications
The affidavit states that Williams’ age at the time of some of the alleged offenses could subject him to mandatory-minimum prison terms if he is convicted, and local reports list multiple felony counts that carry significant penalties. Prosecutors successfully argued that Williams should remain jailed without bail while the case moves forward, according to Bucks County Courier Times.
