Showers and thunderstorms are expected to continue through late morning, with the greatest concern during the early-morning period. Residents should avoid flooded roads and be ready for rapidly changing conditions while the watch remains active.

The rain should taper by late morning, with clouds gradually breaking as temperatures climb toward 84 degrees. Winds will be west-northwest at 5 to 10 knots, and the afternoon forecast calls for partly sunny to mostly sunny skies.
Sunday night looks mostly clear with a low near 69 degrees. The sharper storm threat marks a notable update from Hoodline’s earlier forecast, which had already flagged the weekend as the next major weather turn.

Monday brings a clean reset, with sunny skies and a low around 56 Monday night. Tuesday stays sunny with a high near 85, while Wednesday's high is around 86.
Heat gradually returns Thursday, with a chance of thunderstorms. A chance of showers and thunderstorms arrives Thursday night, with possible showers and storms into Friday, but the immediate concern is Sunday morning’s heavy rain and flooding potential.
