Twice is taking over TD Garden this weekend, bringing a two-night K-pop blitz to Boston on Friday and Saturday. One big wrinkle for local Once: Dahyun will sit out the shows while she recovers from an ankle fracture. Even with one member sidelined, the group rolls in on the heels of its recent crossover moment on the soundtrack for Netflix's KPop Demon Hunters, and the tour's in-the-round setup is built to keep fans close to the action from every angle, as per TD Garden.
TD Garden Dates And Stage
Twice is booked at TD Garden on April 3 and 4, with doors generally opening at 7 p.m. and the music starting at 8 p.m., according to TD Garden. Both the venue and the group's own announcements highlight a 360-degree, in-the-round stage layout designed so that no matter where you are in the bowl, you are getting a clear line of sight and plenty of camera time.
Dahyun Sidelined; JYP Prioritizes Recovery
Fans will notice a gap in the lineup. JYP Entertainment announced that Dahyun will sit out upcoming dates to focus on treatment after doctors diagnosed an ankle fracture, according to a statement shared via Soompi. The Boston Globe reports that the injury occurred during a show in Seattle, and JYP says Dahyun will rejoin the group once she is medically cleared to perform.
From 'KPop Demon Hunters' To TD Garden
Jeongyeon, Jihyo and Chaeyoung recently stepped into soundtrack territory, recording a version of "TAKEDOWN" for the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack. The film's music helped push multiple tracks onto the Billboard charts, as reported by AP News. That momentum has not stayed on the big screen. Coverage in TenAsia notes that the Twice version of "TAKEDOWN" and related tracks have piled up hundreds of millions of Spotify streams, part of what the outlet describes as a renewed wave of stateside attention around the group.
Setlist And What To Expect
Boston crowds can expect a blend of soundtrack cuts and core Twice material. The shows are slated to feature songs like "Strategy" and "What Is Love?" alongside tracks from the 2025 release THIS IS FOR, including "OPTIONS" and "RIGHT HAND GIRL," according to The Boston Globe. Tzuyu told the paper that the 360-degree staging "definitely felt like a big challenge and even a bit of a risk," while Momo said MISAMO's recent Japanese album was intended to show "a different side" of the subunit. The Globe also reports that tickets for the TD Garden dates start at $53.
Tickets And Getting There
Tickets are available through Ticketmaster and at the TD Garden box office. The arena sits at 100 Legends Way, directly above North Station, which means pre-show and post-show crowds are going to be intense even by commuter standards. Plan extra time for security lines and to navigate the venue's bag rules, and maybe save the giant tote experiment for another night.
