Owner Christina Alvarez Lopez is planting her griddle at Booth D61, where Eli’s will serve customers during the swap meet’s regular hours, turning a hit local sweet into a reliable weekend stop for shoppers.
Lopez told What Now Las Vegas via email that locking in a permanent spot is all about making it easier for regulars to track her down. The outlet points to a City of Las Vegas permit listing Eli’s at 1717 S Decatur Blvd and notes that the menu will continue to lean into sugar-forward comfort, including Strawberry Shortcake Crunch Minis and Churro Dream Minis.
Swap meet is a launchpad for small food businesses
The Fantastic Indoor Swap Meet posts its address and public hours on its website, listing the venue at 1717 S. Decatur Blvd and open Fridays through Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Fantastic Indoor Swap Meet regularly pulls in thousands of bargain hunters and browsers through its rows of vendors. The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported last year that Fantastic is expanding and serving as an "incubator" for new retailers, a setup that makes it a natural springboard for food entrepreneurs like Lopez.
