Pearl City is getting a new açaí fix tonight, and it comes with a pretty sweet perk. Everbowl is soft-opening its second Oʻahu shop this evening, with franchise owners planning to hand out roughly 300 free açaí bowls between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. The Pearl City spot takes over the former Hana Tea suite in a small neighborhood strip and will serve its first full day of paying customers tomorrow, following the brand’s first Hawaiʻi outpost in Kapolei.

Co-owner Angela Padilla, who runs the Oʻahu franchise with her husband Brandon, said the team planned to give away "at least 300" bowls and that "anyone is welcome to come and wait in line." The free bowls run from 5 to 8 p.m. tonight, with regular business kicking in tomorrow. The shop is located at 1160 Kuala St. Ste. 204, with regular bowls priced at $14.99 and large bowls at $15.99. Hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, according to Aloha State Daily.

Menu And What To Expect

Everbowl’s menu centers on customizable açaí bowls, with customers building their own combinations or choosing from signature options such as the PB Everbowl and Mango Majic. The shop also offers smoothies, toasts, coffee and matcha, according to Everbowl. The emphasis stays on fruit-forward bowls that are meant to be mixed and matched to taste.

Hawaii Foothold And Local Demand

The Padillas debuted Hawaiʻi’s first Everbowl at Ka Makana Aliʻi in April 2025, according to Pacific Business News. Padilla told Aloha State Daily that the Ka Makana Aliʻi shop "has been consistently busy," a track record that helped convince the owners to bring a second location to Pearl City.

Local Impact

The Pearl City shop created about 20 new jobs, according to the owners, drawing hires from Pearl City High, Waipahu High and Mililani High. The soft opening and free bowls give residents a low-barrier way to try the menu while the team gauges early demand and fine-tunes service for the neighborhood.
