UFC 330 is officially booked for Philadelphia on Saturday, Aug. 15, with the promotion confirming the date during a Tuesday spot on The Pat McAfee Show featuring UFC president Dana White and Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro. The numbered pay-per-view is headed back to the South Philly Sports Complex with a championship fight on tap, although the full lineup and ticket on-sale timeline are still under wraps. UFC officials say those details will roll out in the coming weeks.
In a press release from TKO Group Holdings, the company confirmed that the yet-to-be-announced card will be "exclusively available on Paramount+ in the U.S. and Latin America" and reiterated that ticket information is on the way. The announcement framed the stop in South Philly as part of a packed sports calendar for Pennsylvania and spotlighted the newly rebranded Xfinity Mobile Arena as host. Comcast Spectacor executives used the moment to hype the arena's recent facelift and upgraded fan experience.
Shapiro told viewers on The Pat McAfee Show he was "pumped up" to bring the UFC back to the commonwealth, while White cast the booking as a nod to Philadelphia's long-running fight culture. As reported by FOX 29 Philadelphia, White said the city has "always been a great fight town" and that dropping a numbered card here fits a summer stuffed with major events. Local officials are already counting on visitors from across the region and a healthy bump for hotels, bars and restaurants in the Sports Complex orbit.
A numbered event returns after 15 years
For Philly fans, this one is a long time coming. A numbered pay-per-view has not hit the city since UFC 133 in 2011, which makes UFC 330 the first marquee return in 15 years. MMA Fighting notes that the promotion's last trip to Philadelphia came in 2019 for a Fight Night headlined by Justin Gaethje's stoppage win over Edson Barboza. With that kind of gap on the calendar, expectations are already building over which names will be tapped to headline a title fight at Xfinity Mobile Arena.
Tickets, broadcast and what to watch for
TKO Group Holdings is directing fans to UFC.com/Philly to sign up for ticket alerts and once again confirms that UFC 330 will stream on Paramount+ in the U.S. and Latin America. Matchups, the undercard and pay-per-view pricing are expected to trickle out over the next several weeks as the promotion locks in its championship main event. Gyms around the city, regional promoters and nearby fighters will be keeping a close eye on announcements to see if any hometown or local names get the call.
Part of a packed sports summer
State and city officials, along with tourism boosters, are already selling 2026 as a monster year for Pennsylvania sports, and FOX 29 Philadelphia notes that UFC 330 is just one piece of a loaded lineup. The calendar also features the NFL Draft in Pittsburgh, the PGA Championship at Aronimink in May and World Cup matches in Philadelphia the following month. That crush of events has planners and hospitality operators gaming out everything from transit and traffic plans to hotel room blocks as multiple major crowds cycle through. For now, the clearest pieces are date and venue, with more specifics on the card and tickets expected to follow soon.
