Police said the collision involved a Kia traveling the wrong way that struck a Mercury Grand Marquis head-on.

Authorities said the crash happened at about 10:45 p.m., when a black Kia Forte was driving the wrong way in the northbound lanes and slammed into a silver Mercury Grand Marquis. Three passengers in that car, a 23-year-old man in critical condition, a 22-year-old woman with non-life-threatening injuries and a 27-year-old woman in critical condition, along with the Kia driver, were taken to local hospitals. The Kia driver was reported to have non-life-threatening injuries. North St. Louis County detectives are investigating the crash, as reported by KSDK.
