
A 36-year-old man was shot and killed late Saturday night in North Philadelphia, police said, after gunfire broke out on the 2300 block of Sedgley Street. The shooting happened around 11:30 p.m. The victim was hit twice in the chest and once in the leg, then taken to Temple University Hospital, where he later died.
Officers at the scene recovered several shell casings but no weapon, and police have not announced any arrests, according to 6abc. The station reported that the victim was 36 years old and noted that detectives were still processing the scene, with no additional identifying details released.

The department also runs a SafeCam registry so residents can voluntarily register their security cameras and make footage available to detectives.
