According to Hawaii News Now, the confrontation started around 7:55 p.m. Wednesday when a 50-year-old man got into a verbal argument with a 43-year-old acquaintance in front of the Hygienic Store in Kahaluu. During the dispute, the younger man allegedly fired a gun at the older man but missed, then took off and has not been tracked down.
Honolulu police say no one was physically hurt, and the investigation is still very much in progress.
