First Multiple Listing Service is finally crossing the city line. The state's largest MLS is planning its first in-city service center in Atlanta, taking space inside the Lee + White complex in the West End, bringing support closer to intown brokers and the Westside BeltLine corridor as the neighborhood leans into more office and education uses.
As reported by Atlanta Business Chronicle, First Multiple Listing Service will occupy space inside Lee + White and is calling the location its first intown service center. According to the Chronicle, FMLS plans to staff the new outpost to support agents who work in the city's core, although the report did not include a firm opening date.
FMLS Goes Intown
On its website, FMLS describes itself as the largest and first MLS in Georgia and one of the largest in the country. The organization already operates multiple service centers along with an online store for supplies and eKeys.
Those suburban centers handle the basics for working agents - lockboxes, in-person support and training - so a staffed Lee + White location would almost certainly mirror those walk-in services for intown brokers. If the plans move ahead as described, it marks a noticeable shift from a mostly suburban footprint into a neighborhood that sits much closer to the city center.
Why Lee + White
Lee + White is a roughly 23-acre adaptive-reuse campus along the Westside Trail that the developers and project materials describe as a mix of breweries, a 19-vendor food hall, creative loft offices and light-industrial tenants. Developer information from Ackerman & Co. and MDH Partners highlights recent leasing aimed at office and education users as the property stretches beyond its nightlife and dining reputation.
That growing daytime population, paired with access to the BeltLine and MARTA, likely makes Lee + White an attractive landing spot for a broker-facing service center that depends on easy drop-ins and quick errands.
What It Means For Brokers
An in-city FMLS counter could mean faster technical support for intown agents, simpler access to eKeys and supplies, and a nearby spot for training sessions or walk-in questions. The move also tracks with the broader shift at Lee + White, which is pulling in more non-nightlife tenants. Concorde Career Colleges signed a 47,358-square-foot lease at the property late last year, a clear sign that the campus is building out a larger daytime workforce and service base.
The initial coverage did not include a timetable for opening or details on the staffing plan, according to Atlanta Business Chronicle. We will be watching for lease filings and official announcements to pin down when the new service center is expected to open.
