A Sunday dispute at a private event in southwest Atlanta ended with a man shot in the shoulder, according to Atlanta police. The victim later walked into Grady Memorial Hospital on his own, where doctors evaluated and treated his shoulder wound as a walk-in patient while officers opened a criminal investigation.
Investigators said the gunfire grew out of a dispute between the victim and a male suspect at a private social gathering, with the shooting taking place at 3725 Princeton Lakes Parkway SW, according to 11Alive. Police said the man was hit in the shoulder and then made his own way to Grady for treatment. As of the latest update, no arrests had been reported while detectives canvassed the area for witnesses and possible video that might show what happened before and after the shot was fired.
