Black Tap at The Venetian has unleashed CrazySundae, a new lineup of over-the-top ice cream sundaes that stack scoops, cake and novelty toppings into towering, camera-ready desserts. The sugary skyscrapers join the restaurant’s already famous CrazyShake lineup and began hitting tables at the Strip location this week.
As reported by FOX5 Vegas, servers at Black Tap are now delivering sundae towers piled high with cookies, cake and crunchy garnishes. In the station’s video, staff plate the elaborate builds while guests do the modern ritual: snap the photos first, then finally dig in.
According to Black Tap Las Vegas, the Venetian outpost is home to the brand’s first stand-alone CrazyShake bar, so tacking on CrazySundae feels like the logical next move. This location has leaned into dessert-first moments for years, making it the obvious stage for the concept’s stateside debut.
What to expect
The CrazySundae lineup sticks to Black Tap’s go-big-or-go-home playbook. The debut flavors - Hella Hot Fudge, Cherry Bomb and Bangkok Banana Crunch - are loaded up with playful toppings and dramatic flourishes. “Launching CrazySundae marks an exciting milestone for our brand,” Black Tap founder Chris Barish said in company materials announcing the concept. Those details, including the flavor names and Barish’s comments, appeared in a Marina Bay Sands press release tied to the concept’s global debut.
From Singapore To The Strip
CrazySundae first showed up earlier this year as a “world-first” launch at Black Tap’s Marina Bay Sands location in Singapore, and the Las Vegas rollout is part of a broader global push for the dessert format. The United States arrival at The Venetian was announced in company distribution this week, signaling that Black Tap is looking beyond its initial markets for the next wave of CrazySundae fans.
Where to try it
CrazySundae is available at Black Tap inside The Venetian Resort on the Las Vegas Strip. The resort’s restaurant page lists current hours, menus and reservation options, so a quick check online can help you time your sugar rush.
The Venetian’s Black Tap sits near the resort’s canals and offers indoor seating along with a waterfront patio, making it an easy swing-by for visitors hunting for a little spectacle with dinner or a late-night dessert stop. Expect the same crowd-pleasing, camera-ready presentation that made Black Tap’s CrazyShakes famous, only now in sundae form. If you want to skip the heaviest tourist crush, aim for weekday visits or earlier evening hours.
