
Pennsylvania State Police are investigating an officer-involved shooting in Indiana Borough after local officers responded to a reported domestic disturbance Sunday evening. Authorities say the suspect has been contained and there is no ongoing danger to the public.

According to CBS Pittsburgh, state police described the incident as an "officer-involved shooting" that unfolded after Indiana Borough Police were dispatched for a domestic disturbance call. Investigators have not yet said whether officers fired their weapons, whether shots were fired at them, or both, but confirmed that state police are now leading the probe.
Police Activity Near Kiski River Campsites
Local outlet WCCS reported that the police presence focused on a large house across from the Kiski River Campsites. The station noted that a message to the Indiana University of Pennsylvania community emphasized there was no danger to students or staff. WCCS also reported that both police and the Indiana County District Attorney's office were on scene, although officials released few other details.
