Deep Ellum is about to smell like lemon pepper. Wingstop is turning the Bomb Factory into a free, 10-day World Cup “House of Flavor” pop-up, complete with free wings, live match watch parties, on-site tattoo and barber stations, and a headline set from FERG. The takeover runs from this Wednesday (June 24) through Friday, July 3, with doors opening every day at 11 a.m. Club Wingstop members get extra access and perks, while everyone else gets in free on a first-come, first-served basis.
What to expect
According to a company press release, the North American debut of House of Flavor will bring Wingstop’s sauced-and-tossed wings, live DJs, gameday watch parties, merch and a variety of on-site activations to Dallas. Wingstop says the Dallas stop will feature a one-night-only performance from FERG and notes that hours are “11 a.m. until late.” The brand is billing the whole thing as a culture-driven, fan-first experience built around summer soccer, with free food as the obvious hook.
Local coverage has already mapped out the extras. Elm Street Tattoo will be on site with tattoo options, Ninety Degrees Barber Company will offer fresh cuts, and streetwear label By Way of Dallas has created exclusive city-pride merch just for the run. As reported by the Dallas Observer, the music lineup across the activation includes Houston’s Tay Powers, Dallas DJ Brandon Blue and Chicago rapper Noname, with FERG headlining opening night. The Observer also notes that lines for free wings and the big sets could easily wrap around the block.
When and where
The Bomb Factory’s event listing confirms that House of Flavor will take over the venue at 2713 Canton Street and that all the free items are available only “while supplies last,” with a one-per-guest limit. The Bomb Factory notes that entry is free, with no ticket or reservation required, and that adult beverages will be for sale to guests 21 and over. Venue staff also recommend checking the listing for any last-minute updates to hours or entry policies before you head out.
Where this came from
House of Flavor is the latest in a string of global Wingstop activations built around major sporting moments, including a Paris pop-up during the 2024 Olympics and a Milan installation earlier this year. As reported by MediaPost, the campaign is designed to mix live music, local culture and comfort food in big-city venues. The Toronto and Dallas stops are the first in North America, following European tests that the company says helped fine-tune the experience.
Tips for going
If you are planning to check it out, go early or sign up for Club Wingstop so you can tap into faster entry and members-only perks. The Bomb Factory’s event page specifically suggests having your rewards page ready to unlock that exclusive access. The Bomb Factory also reminds guests that free food is limited and that lines on performance nights could be serious, so treat the giveaways as a bonus, not a guarantee.
