
A late-night moment on Marble Hill Avenue turned violent when a 24-year-old man was stabbed in the chest in what police are calling a gang assault.
The attack happened in front of 70 Marble Hill Ave at about 9:46 p.m. on May 14, according to the NYPD. Officers say two people approached the victim, punched and kicked him several times, and one of them pulled a knife and stabbed him in the chest. The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
Detectives say the pair took off in a black Jeep that headed east on West 228th Street toward Broadway. Police are now asking the public for help identifying the two people wanted in connection with the assault, as reported by News 12 The Bronx.
