
In the early-morning quiet of Sunday, a man was struck and killed on the Northwest Freeway in Jersey Village, authorities said. Jersey Village police officers found an unidentified white man lying across multiple lanes of traffic and pronounced him dead at 3:24 a.m. It remains unclear whether he was attempting to cross the freeway when he was hit.

According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, the crash was reported in the 16000 block of the Northwest Freeway, and the HCSO Vehicular Crimes Division is leading the investigation. The sheriff's online media listing notes a June 7 traffic release for that location as detectives work to piece together how the fatal collision unfolded.
As reported by ABC13 Houston, Jersey Village officers found the man in the main lanes of the freeway and pronounced him dead at the scene. Officials have not released any information about a vehicle or driver, and the case remains an active investigation.
