
A 22-year-old man was shot while driving near downtown San Antonio early Thursday, then managed to drive himself to a hospital, authorities said. The shooting happened around 4:30 a.m. near S. Frio Street and Cesar Chavez Boulevard, and a 23-year-old passenger was also in the car. Police say no suspects have been located so far.
Police: Victim Drove to Hospital
According to News 4 San Antonio, the San Antonio Police Department told the station the two men were driving down Cesar Chavez when they heard gunfire and the 22-year-old was struck. The injured man drove to a local hospital for treatment while officers searched the area for suspects. Investigators have not released the victim’s name or additional details about a possible suspect description.
