A Violent Week in Gwynn Oak
The killing on Whitehead Court landed in the middle of an already bruising week for Gwynn Oak. Days earlier, two children, a 9-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl, were found shot to death inside a home on the 6100 block of Talles Road, reporting by Patch shows.
That earlier double homicide stunned neighbors and spurred stepped-up patrols in the area. County detectives say both the Talles Road case and the Whitehead Court killing remain active investigations. So far, they have not said there is any connection between the two.
