Quality Companies is betting big on Acadiana, rolling out a more than $7 million expansion that stretches from Jeanerette to Youngsville and keeps a lot of local paychecks in play. The two-site buildout includes a new plant in Jeanerette and expanded fabrication capacity in Youngsville. Company officials say the project is expected to create about 125 direct jobs in Jeanerette, preserve 174 positions in Youngsville and generate up to 348 jobs across the region through indirect hiring. Work has already started in Youngsville, and ground was just broken in Jeanerette, with operations slated to begin by the end of the year.
State economic leaders did their part to close the deal. The incentive package includes LED FastStart workforce training and an $800,000 Economic Development Award Program grant targeted at infrastructure improvements. According to Louisiana Economic Development, the company is also expected to participate in the Industrial Tax Exemption and High Impact Jobs programs, tools the state often uses to lock in capital-intensive manufacturing projects.
What The Two Sites Will Build
In Youngsville, Quality Companies is adding a dedicated alloy fabrication shop that will specialize in advanced stainless-steel work. Construction and equipment installation at that location began in January 2026, setting up the facility to support more complex jobs for customers that need high-spec metalwork.
Over in Jeanerette, the new plant is designed as a fabrication and electrical-assembly hub. As reported by New Orleans CityBusiness, the facility is expected to be completed in December, positioning the city to grab a slice of the Gulf Coast industrial pipeline instead of just watching it pass by on the highway.
Jobs And Wages
The Jeanerette plant is projected to create 125 direct positions with an average annual salary of $59,173, which is about 3% higher than the Iberia Parish average. Youngsville, for its part, will retain 174 existing jobs tied to the expansion.
Louisiana Economic Development estimates the project will generate 223 indirect jobs, bringing the total regional impact to roughly 348 new job opportunities when you count the ripple effect through suppliers, service providers and other support roles.
Who Is Quality Companies?
Quality Companies is a consortium formed in 2019 that pulls together five energy-service firms under one banner. The group offers fabrication, instrumentation and electrical construction services across the Gulf Coast, aiming to be the one-stop contractor for big-ticket energy and industrial work.
As listed on Quality Companies' website, the company operates multiple hubs around the Gulf and markets itself as a single contracting partner for large projects, which helps explain why it is now scaling up its Acadiana footprint.
Where This Fits In Louisiana's Industrial Run
State and local economic-development leaders are treating the move as another piece in a larger run of manufacturing growth. Across Louisiana, fabricators and energy suppliers have been quietly bulking up to chase work tied to major energy and infrastructure programs.
New Orleans CityBusiness has tracked similar investments this year, highlighting how local fabrication shops are positioning themselves to capture more high-value assignments instead of seeing them shipped out of state.
Quality Companies says job seekers should keep an eye on its careers page for upcoming hiring announcements as the Jeanerette and Youngsville projects ramp up. Local contractors looking to plug into the work can register with regional development groups to pursue vendor opportunities.
