A 75-year-old Harmony man is wanted after he allegedly pulled a gun and threatened to shoot two people outside a Zelienople home early Sunday morning, according to police. Investigators say the victims were pulling into a driveway when the driver of another vehicle came in behind them, stepped out with a firearm, and told both people he would shoot them. One victim was reportedly struck in the face while trying to call for help, and the homeowner responded by drawing a gun in self-defense.
According to ButlerRadio, charging documents identify the suspect as Kenneth Hughes and place the incident at about 1:30 a.m. on the 300 block of Creekwood Drive. The outlet reports that Hughes faces counts that include stalking, terroristic threats, and recklessly endangering another person, and that a warrant has been issued for his arrest.
Per the Butler County warrant portal, a July 20, 2026 entry lists "Hughes, Kenneth Arthur, 75" with a stalking charge, confirming at least one of the counts named in local coverage. That official record shows the case as active in county files and notes that a warrant remains outstanding.
