A Kissimmee man was killed early Sunday when his motorcycle slammed into the back of a tractor-trailer on Taft Vineland Road near Sidney Hayes Road, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The crash happened around 2 a.m., and first responders pronounced the rider dead at the scene. Troopers said the truck driver was not hurt.
State troopers told WKMG ClickOrlando the motorcyclist failed to stop and struck the tractor-trailer in front of him. The crash is still under investigation, and officials have not released the rider's name so far, pending notification of family members.
