The gunfire broke out in the Stone Hogan Connector area just before midnight, and Atlanta police say investigators have opened a probe into what happened. Authorities have not released the victim’s condition.
According to FOX 5 Atlanta, officers responded to the Stone Hogan Connector area just before midnight after calls reporting gunfire and found the wounded man. FOX 5 reported that its information came from the Atlanta Police Department and that no arrests had been announced when the station published its story. The department described the investigation as ongoing.

The Atlanta Police Department is asking anyone who saw the incident or has video to contact investigators; tips can be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 404-577-TIPS (8477), per APD. Police say the case remains under investigation and that they will release additional details when available.
