Houston’s annual dine-athon is back on the calendar. Houston Restaurant Weeks returns August 1 through September 7, 2026, with menus now live and more than 200 restaurants already in the mix. The fundraiser leans on fixed-price deals, with $25 lunches and brunches and three-course dinners at $39 or $55, and a slice of every one of those checks goes to the Houston Food Bank. Early participants range from Navy Blue and Coltivare to Kitchen Rumors, and organizers say more names could be added before the first plates hit the table.
Dates, Menus And Where To Find Them
According to Houston Restaurant Weeks, this year’s run stretches from Aug. 1 through Sept. 7, with menus already posted on the official site. The program lists brunch and lunch at $25, plus two dinner tiers at $39 and $55, and notes that restaurants will offer both dine-in and takeout options. The event site also includes a searchable list of participating spots so diners can see exactly which locations are offering Houston Restaurant Weeks menus.
The Lineup So Far
As reported by the Houston Chronicle, organizers announced roughly 230 restaurants on Wednesday, with names that include Navy Blue, Coltivare, Kitchen Rumors and Phat Eatery. The Chronicle notes that restaurants can still sign up, and a news release projects more than 350 participants by the time the program officially starts. The expected roster stretches from the Galleria and Inner Loop out to Sugar Land, Galveston and The Woodlands, so the event is shaping up as a region-wide crawl.
How The Money Adds Up
According to the Houston Food Bank, Houston Restaurant Weeks raised $1,651,698 in 2025, and the organization shares part of that total with partner food banks in Galveston and Montgomery counties. The food bank says every dollar is estimated to provide about three meals, a metric organizers lean on to show how those menu donations add up quickly across the city. Since its launch in 2003, Houston Restaurant Weeks has grown into one of the largest local fundraisers for the food bank.
How Restaurants Are Pitching In
The Houston Chronicle reports that participating restaurants start with a $1,000 baseline contribution, then add per-meal donations on top of that. Each $25 lunch or brunch sends $1 to the cause, $39 dinners contribute $3, and $55 dinners kick in $5. Katie Stone, who heads the Cleverley Stone Foundation that produces Houston Restaurant Weeks, told the Chronicle that many restaurants have described 2026 as one of their toughest years, which she says is part of why the event feels especially crucial this summer. For diners, that translates into value-priced menus that help support both local spots and neighbors who rely on the food bank.
Booking Tips
Menus are already up, and the most popular rooms tend to fill fast, so it pays to plan ahead and double-check which seatings honor the Houston Restaurant Weeks menu. Some places limit the special pricing to certain days or times, and takeout availability varies by venue, according to Houston Restaurant Weeks. If you are eyeing a high-demand reservation, calling the restaurant directly or booking off-peak hours can boost your odds of landing a table.
