A fresh Swiss comfort-food player is lining up for Westwood Village, and it is coming in hot with melted cheese. The concept, called LARACLETTE, is planning to open at 1061 Broxton Ave, according to public filings and the brand’s own website. The project is led by restaurateur Domenico Frasca and is pitched as a modern, gourmet spin on raclette and other Swiss classics. An official opening date, staffing details, and a full menu have not yet been released.
WhatNow reported that an ABC filing places LARACLETTE at the Broxton address, with Frasca listed as the owner. That puts the upcoming spot near the Whole Foods and CAVA on Broxton Avenue. According to the outlet, a company spokesperson declined to comment for now but indicated that more information should land in the coming weeks.
What Laraclette Says
The LARACLETTE website describes the incoming restaurant as a place “where Swiss comfort food gets a modern, gourmet twist in the heart of Los Angeles.” For the moment, visitors see a simple landing page with an info email for press inquiries. Laraclette does not list a menu yet, but the brief description points to raclette-style melts and other Alpine comfort dishes as the heart of the concept.
The Broxton Space
The address at 1061 Broxton Ave is a walkable storefront in Westwood Village that brokers have recently marketed as a roughly 3,000-square-foot, second-generation restaurant with a sizable patio. Marketing materials from Matthews show the unit positioned to catch heavy UCLA foot traffic and the neighborhood’s dining crowd, a setup that seems made for a casual, shareable-plate concept like raclette.
About The Owner
Domenico Frasca is not a newcomer to the Los Angeles restaurant scene. He previously opened Domenico Ristorante in Silver Lake and has been profiled by the Los Angeles Times for his neighborhood Italian spot. The paper notes his background working at Drago and his Italian-born roots, suggesting that the Westwood venture is in the hands of an operator who knows his way around neighborhood dining operations.
For now, LARACLETTE has not announced an opening timeline or posted hiring notices, and the ABC filing remains the first public record linking the brand to the Broxton storefront. Local diners and UCLA students eyeing the stretch of Broxton Avenue may want to watch for new signage, permit postings or a more detailed menu reveal in the coming weeks.
