North Katy is about to get a lot more caffeinated. HTeaO is set to open its third Katy-area store next Saturday at 19832 W. Little York Road, bringing the Texas-born chain’s sprawling iced-tea lineup a little closer to residents along the north side. The new shop will join two existing Katy locations and will pour the brand’s rotating mix of sweet and unsweet tea flavors alongside a short coffee menu and grab-and-go snacks. Franchise partners say opening-day deals are planned to lure in early regulars.

Grand opening details

According to Community Impact, HTeaO announced in a July 6 news release that the grand opening for the Little York Road shop is scheduled for next Saturday, with discounts expected throughout the weekend. Community Impact also reports that the chain already operates two Katy locations, one on Avenue D and another on Kingsland Boulevard.

What to expect at the counter

The menu features more than 20 varieties of sweet and unsweet iced tea, along with a coffee lineup that includes macchiatos, lattes and mochas, according to HTeaO. The store page for the Little York Road location confirms the address and hours and notes that customers can grab packaged snacks and order ahead through the app for pickup, per HTeaO. In other words, if you like your drinks cold and your visits quick, this spot is built for you.

Franchisee on the move

Franchise partner Ryan Marcum said the decision to open another shop in Katy was about more than just chasing traffic counts. "Katy has experienced incredible growth over the past several years, but it's still a community where people value local businesses and making connections," Marcum said, per Community Impact. He added that he hopes the new store becomes a familiar stop for neighbors looking to grab coffee, tea or a gallon to take home.

What this expansion means

The Katy opening is part of a bigger national push. HTeaO now operates more than 150 locations across the country, according to QSR Web. That momentum has helped the brand spread through multiple Greater Houston neighborhoods as franchisees try to keep up with demand for quick, flavored drinks. For Katy residents, it means one more option when the craving for a massive cup of iced tea hits in the middle of a Gulf Coast summer.
