Bensalem Township’s annual Family Fall Festival is set to return Saturday, October 3, with an afternoon of free family activities, a nighttime ’80s-versus-’90s concert and a fireworks finale. The 2026 edition will also fold in a patriotic theme celebrating 250 years of freedom as communities mark America’s 250th anniversary.
According to an announcement from Bensalem Township on Facebook, the festival begins at 1:30 p.m. at the municipal complex, with food trucks and a beer garden available for purchase. The post also warns that parking will be limited and says free shuttle buses will run from Bensalem High School, while Bensalem’s official festival page notes that schedules and activities may change.
Kids’ Activities Fill The Afternoon
The Bensalem Alive calendar separately lists the event’s 6:30 p.m. concert at the Penn Community Bank Amphitheater on October 3. Before the music starts, families can expect attractions including a little circus, petting zoo and pony rides, mini golf, bounce houses, balloon sculpting, character meet-and-greets and interactive play stations.
The township’s posted festival schedule also includes Bensalem Police motor patrol and K-9 demonstrations, along with police, fire and EMS apparatus displays. A roaming magician, hula hoop activities and Slimetopia Playland round out the long list of kid-focused diversions planned for the grounds.
Township Warns About Fake Festival Offers
The township’s announcement includes a warning that scammers may try to use posts about the Family Fall Festival to con attendees. Residents are urged to report suspected scams immediately and to rely on the township’s notice for official information; it also says no vendor or sponsor spots are available.
Families should also check the official festival page before heading out, since the township says details are subject to change. Pets, skateboards, scooters, bikes, outside alcohol and smoking are prohibited at the event, according to the posted rules.
