Armored Truck Robberies Have Turned Violent In Southwest Houston
The area has seen a similar armored-truck robbery attempt before. In 2019, an armored truck guard and at least one suspect exchanged gunfire outside a money-transfer store on South Gessner Road, according to the Houston Chronicle; no one at that scene was injured.
