A 15-year-old girl from Levittown has been missing since the early hours of Thursday, and Falls Township police say they are increasingly worried about her safety. Gabrielle Stevens was last seen at approximately 3 a.m. Thursday in the unit block of Vividleaf Lane, a residential street in the Vermilion Hill section of Levittown, and investigators have classified her as endangered.
Falls Township police wrote that “family and law enforcement are greatly concerned for her wellbeing,” according to NBC10 Philadelphia, which first reported the search appeal. Stevens is described as standing 5 feet, 3 inches tall and weighing approximately 115 pounds. Vividleaf Lane sits inside a residential pocket of Levittown, the sprawling master-planned postwar community that spans multiple municipalities in Lower Bucks County, according to property records reviewed by CapCenter.
Detective John Vella has been assigned as the lead investigator on the case, per the same NBC10 report. Anyone with information is asked to call Vella directly at (215) 302-3317 or email him at [email protected]. Police also urged anyone with immediate information to contact 911.
How to Report a Tip
Falls Township police are also accepting anonymous tips by phone at (215) 949-9120 or by email at [email protected], the same tip line the department maintains for general public leads. That anonymous line runs through a communications system overseen by the Falls Township Police Department, which is led by Chief of Police Nelson Whitney and has operated an automated CommunityConnect text messaging platform since March to keep callers updated during dispatch responses, according to information published by Falls Township.
As of June, the department had 47 total sworn officers, six short of its full budgeted complement of 53, though township supervisors approved hiring four new officers that month to fill vacancies, per Falls Township records. The staffing picture offers some context for the scale of manpower available as officers work the case across a township that covers 26.6 square miles and serves roughly 34,300 residents across several Levittown neighborhood sections, Fairless Hills, and historic Fallsington.
A Familiar Appeal in a Neighboring Section
This is not the first time Falls Township police have issued a public search appeal for a missing teenager in the Levittown area. In November 2024, the department sought help locating 14-year-old Michael Francis Garvey, who went missing from the nearby Pinewood section — a residential area neighboring Vermilion Hill, where Stevens was last seen.
It remains unclear whether Pennsylvania State Police have issued a formal Missing Endangered Person Advisory for Stevens. Under state administrative procedures, cases that do not meet the strict abduction thresholds required for an AMBER Alert can instead be circulated through a MEPA, which distributes descriptions to regional law enforcement agencies and news media without triggering an Emergency Alert System broadcast. Investigators have not said whether they suspect foul play, runaway behavior, or a medical emergency in Stevens's disappearance.
What National Data Shows About Missing Teens
Nationally, teenagers between 15 and 17 years old account for approximately 74% of all endangered runaway cases reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, according to figures published on MissingKids.org. The same organization reports that more than 90% of missing children cases brought to its attention are eventually resolved, with 48% of endangered runaways located within seven days — a timeline that underscores why law enforcement agencies stress the importance of public tips in the first 24 to 48 hours.
Pennsylvania itself had more than 520 open missing persons cases statewide as of mid-2026, according to figures highlighted during the state's Missing Person Awareness Day. Officials have noted that tally includes both long-running disappearances and active short-term searches like the one now underway for Stevens in Levittown.
Falls Township police have not released additional details about the circumstances surrounding Stevens's disappearance. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Vella or submit a tip through the department's anonymous line.
