Oscar-nominated actor Colman Domingo is returning to Actors Theatre of Louisville for a rare one-night event built around one of his most acclaimed film performances.
Actors Theatre will host Domingo on Saturday, Aug. 15, in the Pamela Brown Auditorium for a screening of Sing Sing followed by a live conversation about the film, his artistic journey and the power of theater, according to Actors Theatre. The program is part of the Bingham Signature Shakespeare Series.
Domingo stars in Sing Sing as Divine G, a wrongfully incarcerated man who finds purpose through a prison theater program. The film is based on a true story and features formerly incarcerated performers portraying versions of themselves, BroadwayWorld reported.
For Louisville theatergoers, the event offers a chance to see Domingo at Actors Theatre.

Tickets are available in three tiers: $225 for premium seating, $150 for standard seating and $75 for partial-view seating, and can be purchased online or through the box office at 502-584-1205.
