The bigger concern comes Sunday night into Monday, when repeated showers and thunderstorms could produce heavier downpours. The National Weather Service said some areas could face flash-flooding risks, along with strong or severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging wind gusts.

Monday is forecast to be mostly cloudy, with showers and thunderstorms continuing through the day and a high near 83 degrees. The chance of rain is around 90%, and another half-inch to three-quarters of an inch of rain is possible, making ponding and reduced visibility concerns for commuters.
Heat And Storms Continue Through The Week
Tuesday should bring a brief improvement, with mostly sunny skies and a high near 86 degrees before a chance of showers returns after 2 p.m. The unsettled pattern then continues through Saturday, with highs generally between 86 and 89 degrees and daily chances for showers or thunderstorms, especially during the afternoon and evening.
