A 55-year-old Hebron man is dead after his motorcycle ran off State Route 550 in Fairfield Township and struck a guardrail Saturday, prompting an ongoing investigation by state troopers in Washington County. Andrew Harris was riding a 2021 Harley-Davidson Street Glide when the crash happened, and he was pronounced dead at the scene, according to WTAP.
According to WTAP, Harris was traveling southbound on State Route 550 when his motorcycle went off the left side of the road. The Ohio State Highway Patrol said the Harley then struck a guardrail, and Harris did not survive the crash. Troopers confirmed he was pronounced dead at the crash scene in Fairfield Township.

The crash drew a multi-agency response, per the same report. The Wesley Volunteer Fire Department, the Washington County Sheriff's Office, the Washington County Coroner's Office and Secure Towing all responded to the scene in Fairfield Township on September 19, as reported by WTAP.
