That outlet reported Rodriguez was found dead on a Sunday morning in the 8000 block of New Sulphur Springs in southeast Bexar County. At the time, no weapons had been recovered from the scene and no arrests had been made.
Investigators Believed Body Was Dumped
Separately, News 4 San Antonio reported that an adult man's body was found on a private lot on the city's Far East Side, showing visible signs of trauma and decomposition. Deputies were called around 9:30 a.m. to the 8000 block of North Sulfur Springs Road after a nearby resident discovered the body, that report said. Investigators believed at the time that Rodriguez had been killed elsewhere and that his body was later dumped on the private lot.
News 4 San Antonio's earlier report also noted that Rodriguez's official cause and manner of death had not yet been publicly revealed, and that the Bexar County Medical Examiner's Office was expected to make that determination, according to KSAT.
