Baltimore is lined up for a bright, dry fall weekend, with Saturday's sunshine pushing temperatures to 63 degrees after an early chill in the upper 40s. The forecast stays rain-free through next week, but clear skies will make tonight and Sunday night feel noticeably colder away from the city.
Sunny Saturday, Clear Saturday Night
Saturday will remain sunny with a light east-to-southeast wind of 1 to 5 mph. According to the National Weather Service, temperatures will fall to around 50 tonight under clear skies, leaving suburban lawns and gardens more vulnerable to frost than downtown Baltimore.
Sunday Brings More Sun, Monday Gets Mild
Sunday should bring more sun, followed by a clear night. Monday warms to 71 under sunny skies before Tuesday returns to the upper 60s with a northerly breeze.
Waterfront Areas Could See Minor Tidal Flooding
The weather service says minor tidal flooding remains possible in some Chesapeake locations through the weekend as east-to-southeast winds keep water levels elevated ahead of Monday's full moon. Water levels are expected to ease Monday as winds turn westerly, though the coastal flooding concern is focused on areas outside central Baltimore.
Dry Weather Sticks Around
Wednesday looks partly sunny, while Thursday and Friday are expected to remain mild. A slight chance of rain is forecast Wednesday night and Thursday.
