Uh oh.
The Chronicle reports that an SUV drove into the Muni tunnel at Duboce and Church this morning, and made it almost all the way to Van Ness station before getting stuck. As a result, all underground Muni service has been suspended in both directions while crews remove the car and inspect the system. What makes this particularly amazing is the impossibly bright LED sign that warns auto traffic not to enter the tunnel at Duboce: Good look out there, folks -- this morning's commute should be a doozy. Update: SFMTA says regular Muni service has resumed as of 8:18am.
