Lower Haight Leftovers: 4/20 Edition
We've got a few fun weekend events, a secret antique store, a 5am celebrity sighting and more, all in this week's leftovers. Here we go...

Tomorrow is Record Store Day! Black Pancake will have a raffle, Blue Bottle coffee, and free pancakes, while Groove Merchant will be offering special LPs and free t-shirts.
Also tomorrow, from 12pm to 2pm, local expert Joel Pomerantz hosts a Walk the Wiggle History Tour. Starting at the Church and Duboce bike mural, you'll wander through the neighborhood and learn about the ancient creeks and villages that once existed along this storied route. Cost is a sliding scale donation of anywhere from $10 - $40. You can get more info here.
On Sunday, in celebration of Earth Day, Maven invites you to enjoy a cocktail special under their living wall. All night long, for every "Global Warming" cocktail sold, Maven will donate $4 to Friends of the Urban Forest.
The Bold Italic has a story this week catching up with a few people affected by recent fires, including a resident and merchant displaced by the September 27th fire at Haight and Fillmore.
This week, Local Addition ran a profile of JK Antiques, a by-appointment-only shop at 324 Divisadero. Unrelatedly, the back of the shop sells prosthetic limbs. Interesting space.
Danny Coyle's reports that actor Clive Owen stopped by the bar last Saturday at 5am to watch a soccer match.
Finally, yes, it's 4/20. If you can't make your annual pilgrimage to the corner of Haight and Ashbury today, why not do the next best thing? Check out Uppercasing, our new Upper Haight blog. It's just like being there, only digital and with fewer tourists.
That's all we've got this week. What did we miss? tips [at] haighteration {{dot}} com.
