Lower Haight Leftovers: Fish Tacos Edition
Sometimes, good things come by the dozen: eggs, doughnuts, oysters, and today's leftovers. Here are twelve tasty treats to get your weekend started right.

It's time to contact your friends in New York, because today at 4pm Eastern, Rosamunde's Brooklyn location will officially open to the public. After today's grand opening, they'll be starting regular service tomorrow with lunch at 11:30am. That's 285 Bedford Avenue, in Williamsburg's Southside, which today also becomes its smoky and savory side.
Tonight, a little closer to home, a new wellness studio will be opening inside the chiropractor shop at 129 Fillmore Street. It's called the Fillmore Street Health & Wellness Center, and it'll offer a variety of services including ayurveda, acupuncture, chiropractic care, massage, and reiki. Swing by tonight between 7:30pm and 9pm to find out more.
Also tonight, move your body in a different way at Push The Feeling, epicsauce's monthly party at Underground SF. Tonight's headliner is Les Sins, a.k.a. Chaz Bundick, a.k.a. Toro y Moi. This is a pretty big get for the Lower Haight, so tonight's set should indeed be epic. It'll also mark the SF debut of Silver Hands, an SF/LA-based duo, plus residents YR SKULL and epicsauce DJs. All this for just $5! That's 9pm to 2am at Underground SF, 424 Haight.
Also tonight (!), DSF hosts one of its legendary First Friday events -- this time featuring the multi-artist show Raw Passage. There'll be works by artists Megan Wolfe, Steve Javiel, and Daniel Valadez, plus tunes, booze, and DSF's oft-promised high-fives. That's 8pm to 11pm at DSF, 520 Haight Street.
Tomorrow, from 9am to 2pm, it's the 15th annual Duboce Park Tag Sale. If you have items you'd like to donate, you can do so tomorrow morning. Otherwise, swing by to peruse your neighbors' treasures. All proceeds go towards improvements to Duboce Park.
As we told you yesterday, Sunday afternoon will see the return of Second Sundays on the 400 block of Haight Street. There'll be a sidewalk sale, BBQ, a kids' craft area, and more. That's noon to 5pm on Haight, between Fillmore and Webster.
And if that's not enough, Sunday also marks the Western Addition edition of Sunday Streets. The route goes along Fulton Street from Fillmore to Baker, makes a stop at the Divisadero Farmers Market, then continues to the Panhandle. We're talking live music, vendors, kids' activities, and lots more, from 11am to 4pm.
Remember how we told you that two candidates for District 5 Supervisor had opened offices in the Lower Haight? Well now a third has entered the mix. London Breed's campaign will now be headquartered at 438 Haight Street. Swing by tomorrow at 9:30am for the office's grand opening.
Have you heard of Zumba? It's a cardio fitness exercise based on latin dance, and Lower Haighter Jessa Freeman wants you to learn it. She's teaching Zumba classes at the James Howell Studio at 66 Sanchez, and she's offering the first class free, plus 50% off of the next five classes, now through the end of September. Just mention Haighteration when you sign up. Visit ZumbaWithJessa.com for more info.
Concerned about the gentrification of Divis? So is Brian Hibbs, the owner of Comix Experience. He's written a blog post about his observations, and you can read it here.
On August 28th, a resident's puppy was allegedly mauled by a dog on Divisadero between Oak and Page. Now the puppy's owner is seeking your help in finding the owner of the offending dog. You can view a description of the woman in question, and even see some photos, here.
Finally, let's end things on a lighter note, shall we? A reader sent us this parody rap video he co-created, called "Wine Country." It made us laugh, and we suspect it will make you laugh too.
That's it! What did we miss? Do tell. tips [at] haighteration {{dot}} com.
