It's time for another edition of your local crime blotter, culled from daily updates provided by the SFPD.

Here's a sampling of criminal activity that went down in the area in October.
On Sunday just after midnight, two men and a woman were mugged near Fulton and Scott Streets. Two men approached them, one with a BB gun, and demanded their property. The victims turned over a cell phone, wallet, and camera. The suspects fled on foot. A week earlier, on Saturday the 19th, a 23-year-old woman was robbed near Fulton and Webster around 8:30pm. Five teenage males approached her from behind and tried to steal her rolling luggage bag. She resisted, but one of the suspects managed to steal a wallet and camera from her bag, as well as her purse. The suspects then fled on foot. On the night of the 17th, just before midnight, a 24-year-old woman was mugged near Hayes and Steiner. A man and woman demanded the victim's property. She initially refused, prompting one of the suspects to pull out a knife. The victim then complied, turning over her backpack and cell phones. The suspects -- you guessed it -- fled on foot. Some time overnight on the 16th/17th, someone stacked a bunch of papers near the bumper of a woman's car parked on the 800 block of Pierce Street, and set the papers on fire. The bumper of the vehicle was damaged. On October 14th around 2:15am, a 57-year-old man was walking near Oak and Octavia when two men approached him, one of whom punched him in the eye. The suspects then took the man's cell phone and wallet, and ran away. Early in the morning of October 8th, a home on the 600 block of Steiner was burgled. A man entered the house through a window via scaffolding, and stole items including cell phones and a wallet. Someone working on the house told a resident that he had encountered a possible intruder. The resident called the police, who were able to apprehend the suspect. On the morning of October 6th, at 9:30am, a woman reported a robbery on the 700 block of Duboce, near Scott Street. The woman awoke after hearing a noise, and looked out her window to see a suspect climbing over her fence. She went back to bed. An hour later, she awoke to discover her laptop had been stolen. Finally, at 8:10pm on October 3rd, a man reported being mugged on the 200 block of Fillmore. A man approached the victim, putting his hand on his pocket as if he had a gun, and demanded money. The victim handed over his cell phone, and the suspect ran westbound on Waller Street.
