Fire Breaks Out In Duboce Triangle [Updated]Photo: Andrew Dudley/Hoodline
Sirens erupted this afternoon as firefighters rushed to the site of a fire located at or around 42 Walter Street in Duboce Triangle. (Update: it's the building at 34 Walter St.)
As of 1:55pm today, the fire was still burning. No word yet on the cause of the fire, the precise location or whether anyone has been injured.  Helicopters are hovering in the area, and multiple firetrucks are currently at the site as firefighters work to combat the fire.

We'll update this post as the situation develops.

UPDATE 2:28pm: Firefighters have entered four buildings on Walter Street. These appear to include the addresses spanning 30-40 Walter.

UPDATE 2:50pm: An SFFD representative tells us that the fire has been reported as "under control" as of 2:43pm. The fire originated at 34 Walter Street, and the buildings on either side also suffered smoke and fire damage.  One firefighter incurred minor injuries and has been transported to the hospital.

The Red Cross has been notified but as of right now, it's unclear how many people have been displaced from their homes.

UPDATE 3:18pm: Here are two more videos from the scene.
