It's another weekend in Hayes Valley, and that means we've rounded up the tidbits and tastes that we missed over the course of the week.

A Taste of Hayes Valley
Outside Lands is fast approaching, and the full food lineup includes some familiar eateries from around the neighborhood. If you snagged a ticket to the sold out festival, look out for the return of Rich Table's porcini donuts, plus Nojo's fries and spicy chicken wings, rice pudding and frozen yogurt sandwiches from Loving Cup, donut cheeseburgers and sweet potato tots with blackberry BBQ sauce from Straw, and Blue Bottle coffee to wash it all down.

Tea Dance Tomorrow
Haven't gotten a chance to check out the new art show "Hayes Valley Artists: plus one"? Head on down tomorrow (Sunday) from 3pm-5pm, where we've heard there'll be a tea dance, complete with iced tea and baklava from Hayes and Kebob.  On Friday the 15th, there's also a dance performance set to take place in the space as a a fundraiser for the next Patricia's Green sculpture. We'll get more details on that one as it gets closer.

New in Town
There's a new boutique medical clinic and spa in town. Called Hayes Valley Medical & Esthetics, they've been around for six months by appointment only, and are now officially opening to the public.  Located on the ground floor of the historic Rube Goldberg building, the business is an expansion of Dr. Andrew Patrinellis' first cosmetic dermatology clinic located in Napa. Welcome to the neighborhood, Patrinellis and Co.

On Living Above Bar Jules
San Francisco Magazine recently spoke to a few chefs about what it's like to live adjacent to their restaurants, and Bar Jules' Jessica Boncutter weighed in on the "frickin' nightmare" of her live/work situation. Some highlights:

- "People think, ‘oh, that’s so sweet—you live in this cute apartment above your little bistro ... In reality, it’s a frickin’ nightmare.”
- "It’s so loud it’s insane.”
- "I never have to put on my own music ... I can hear the restaurant’s playlist clearly through the floor.”
- “People will walk by and go, ‘oh, I heard this place is amazing,’ or ‘ehh, there’s nothing on the menu I want today.’ It’s like live Yelp reviews.”

Enjoy the weekend, ladies and gents!
