Got an event you want the neighborhood to know about? To be included in our next Castro weekly roundup, please fill out the form at this link by Tuesday evening.
Now that Halloween is over and we're through this year's election cycle, let's take a look at a few of the stories we covered in the Castro that you may have missed.
Earlier this week we rounded up a few of the crimes that went on in our neighborhood, including the strange case of a woman who jumped from a Lyft vehicle when her driver, who was hearing impaired, didn't respond to her concerns.
After receiving about an inch of rain earlier this week, you may be thinking about getting prepared for the upcoming winter. Hortica's David Gray gave us some tips on getting your garden and plants ready for the winter.
Meanwhile, Dolores Park renovations are continuing apace, with a reopening for the southern end of the park planned for early 2016, as scheduled.
Back in September, we told you about Lava Mae's mobile showers and toilets coming to the Castro. The bus is now in its second week of partnership with Most Holy Redeemer Church.
Corona Heights resident and painter Monique Passicot sat down with us for a conversation about her art and life in San Francisco since since 1983. She'll open her home studio at 16 Temple St. to visitors this weekend.
The days may be getting shorter, but that doesn't mean you've got to stay home. Take a look at a few of the events going on in and around the Castro this weekend.
