Got an event you want the neighborhood to know about? To be included in our next SoMa weekly roundup, please fill out the form at this link by Tuesday evening.

It's about time for another weekend countdown. But first, here's what you may have missed this week and the top events around the neighborhood this weekend.

Let's start with development. Kicking off the week, Forest City signed an agreement to make 40 percent of housing within the proposed four-acre 5M Project affordable. Despite the new compromise, community groups like the South of Market Community Action Network are still expected to protest the project when it goes before the the full Board of Supervisors on Tuesday, Nov. 17th.

Just blocks from the 5M Project, plans have surfaced to demolish the one-story building at 1245 Folsom St., currently home to AltSchool, in favor of a seven-story mixed-use residential building with 37 units.

Over in Western SoMa, a proposal to replace the historic auto warehouse at 241 10th St. with a five-story residential development is near final.

Finally, community members and city officials gathered at South Park on Tuesday for a groundbreaking ceremony to kick-off the park's $2.8 million renovation project, which should start after Thanksgiving and take seven to eight months to complete.

On the food and beverage front, Codeword's grand opening, which was originally slated for Tuesday, has been pushed to tonight. The new nightclub's 18-and-over EDM dance party runs from 9pm-2am tonight; moving forward, it will run every Tuesday night. The 24/7 pizza parlor is expected to debut tonight as well.

Finally, there's another new restaurant in the works: Wine Not, which is taking over the space across from McCoppin Hub plaza that was previously home to V-105.

Here's what's going down in the neighborhood over the weekend:

Born Ruffians w/ Young Rival

If ‘Birthmarks’ was polished and presentable, RUFF is the ugly innards that hide beneath."
