Got an event you want the neighborhood to know about? To be included in our next Castro weekly roundup, please fill out the form at this link.

Christmas is just around the corner! Let's take a moment and look back on the week that was in the Castro, and then get you in to the holiday spirit with a host of Christmas-themed events for the weekend and week ahead.

This week, we asked you which local holiday decorations are your favorite. We all know about the Tom & Jerry house on 21st Street, but what about lesser known displays?

We also sat down Brian Basinger, a longtime AIDS survivor and current AIDS Housing Alliance SF Executive Director, to talk about the state of affordable housing in the city.

On Sunday, despite the wind and rain, hundreds of nearly naked men ran through the Castro for the 7th Annual Santa Skivvies Run benefiting the San Francisco AIDS Foundation. The SF AIDS Foundation recently announced that their new men's health center, Strut, will be opening January 4th.

In other news, Berkeley-based Artís Coffee opened in the former Body Shop location on Castro. Has the Castro finally hit its caffeine limit with this most recent opening? Be prepared for another coffee shop, CRO Cafe, inside The Myriad once it opens.

And, in reaction to the AIDS Healthcare Foundation's attempt to move their pharmacy into the Castro without formula retail authorization, Supervisor Wiener extended the interim zoning controls for another six months.

And now, on to your very festive Castro Christmas events:
