The Lark, the latest watering hole from the Future Bars group, is now open at 29 Third St., the former Dave's Bar. The company, known for upscale cocktail lounges like Bourbon & Branch, The Devil's Acre and Rickhouse, also owns a trio of Cask wine and spirits stores, one of which is located right next door.
Given the group's track record of upscale bars, some were skeptical of partner Brian Sheehy's claim in our earlier report that it'll remain a "simple downtown bar that appeals to the same people that are going there right now." We'll go check it out and give you an update soon.
