Street Performer Sings for the Love of Music

I was strolling through the streets of Williamsburg yesterday, when I suddenly heard the sound of distant music being played out loud. At first, I thought it was coming from a speaker or radio in a store, but as I walked further, I eventually found the source of the music. This man was singing on the street:

I always appreciate the shows that street performers put on, but this guy was particularly memorable for me because it was SUPER cold yesterday. In fact, I had to enter random stores every so often just to take refuge and defrost.

This man, however, didn’t seem to mind so much. As I watched him from through a window inside a store, I wondered why he didn't perform in the subway or somewhere indoors. He was only wearing a hoodie, but he almost seemed oblivious to the cold. He would only stop to blow into his hands every few songs or so just to keep his fingers warm with his breath.

It was really inspiring to watch him. When you love your craft with every fiber of your being, it really shows.
