It may be hard to believe, but we're already a quarter of the way through 2016. And without a drop of rain in sight, for better or for worse, it's shaping up to be another great weekend in the Castro. Let's take a look at a few of the events going on around the neighborhood.

But first, in case you missed this year's Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence's Easter Party at Hellman Hollow, we're happy to report that it was popular as ever. This year's winner of the Hunky Jesus Contest was Cheerleader Jesus, pictured above.
Looking ahead, you can kick off your weekend by celebrating the opening of the GLBT History Museum's newest photography exhibition, Dancers We Lost: Honoring Performers Lost To HIV/AIDS. Afterwards, head up Castro Street to explore the oil paintings of Marvin Werlin at Interludes, this month's art opening at Strut.
If the clear weather holds, spend your Saturday afternoon reliving the '90s with San Francisco's gay rock music band Pansy Division performing live outside on the patio at SF Eagle. Or, join Join Spark Arts in partnership with the Castro CBD for Live In The Castro: Sketching The Changing City. Led by artist Laurie Wingham, the group will meet to sketch at Jane Warner Plaza, followed by a meet-up at the gallery.
If you're more of a night owl, throw on your favorite Hawaiian shirt and head on down to Blackbird for Two Tone Tiki Night. (The best tiki costume will win a prize!)
